Police clamp down on unregistered SIM sales

The system is once again only monitoring legal citizens and criminals have no problem in carrying on with their business. Such a waste of time and effort.

Or rather, the system is placing a much larger burden on companies to monitor legal citizens, while the criminals bypass the monitoring.

Time, money and effort WASTED.

Any criminal stupid enough to use a cellphone with his personal SIM card with all his RICA'd details would get caught by means other than RICA anyway.

Not wasted. Everything has a reason. Purpose of such legislation is to make your life so miserable, so everybody will stop to obey the law. Ultimate goal is to make everybody liable for prosecusion, live in constant fear. Remember how strict were laws of Moses? The same principle applies.
If you don't see it here look at secrecy bill.
 
its a load of bull anyway.on a nother forum i frequent a guys fiance was getting disturbing phone calls and when he went to the police he was told by the police that rica is pointless and that they cant find out who the perp is.wtf.then why did we have to rica our sims!?

No, I support freedom. RICA is a nasty fascist piece of legislation that severely undermines our freedom and democracy. Anyone who supports RICA should be ashamed of themselves.

Freedom fighter. Think how you are differ from the freedom fighters who are now in power. If you want to create something different, you must act different. Did you exercise other options? Nope. Only if you did, you can call for disobedience.

It's not only in eastern cape,almost everywher were yu find makola shops,I realy don't think Police have time to inforce Rica,we need them fr more serious issues
