Samsung launches SMS billing for Android apps in SA

How secure is this? Can someone else not spoof your phone & send sms's on your behalf?
 
Although I never plan to have a not-samsung Android phone, I will never use the Samsung Apps store.

Simply because it's clunky, and I don't want to be vendor locked to them, I prefer to use the "real" android market for purchases.

That said, that Samsung apps store has some awesome apps for free that are paid on the android market, so..

Can you not use the markets at the same time?
Assuming also that once you buy app from samsung market you cant use the app on an HTC if you change further on down the line.
