Growing so tired of these constant disconnects!

The needle that broke the camel's back was playing a game of League of Legends this evening with four other friends. Two of us are on 8ta. He's situated in Valhalla and I'm in Pierre van Ryneveld. At almost the exact same instant both our 3G connections dropped. We both tried to reconnect to our respective towers for more than half an hour. We both gave up eventually.

This is not the first time this happened. The 8ta service has degraded pretty rapidly (in the Centurion area at least) in the past month. I've used both Vodacom and Cell C's 3G to play League of Legends and disconnects happened very rarely (perhaps once every two months).

What's going on with your network 8ta?? These constants disconnects and struggles to reconnect are happening too often to be coincidence!

Got disconnected this evening as well. Same time frame. And I'm in Polokwane! Data service totally gone, but voice still worked ( had full signal - just no data connection)

Back up now though. Agreed that this is getting tiresome.

Hmm, I see one can't trust wireless, had to drop cell c about a year ago because of these issues but not for gaming just
general browsing.
