Meh,these are spares,still deciding what to do with them,at that price I couldn't say no :P
 
+1 getting my MicroServer this week :)

For those that don't know, the pricing is going up across the board by R1000 so better backorder :D
 
I just hope the HP Microserver N40L works with unbuffered non-ECC memory - seeing that the Esquire salesrep told me that it won't work.
So far I'm loving my Microserver N36L (8GB RAM + 8TB in software RAID 5) for a router + NAS.
 
I'm very glad I got in before the rush, for a lower price than esquire's ;)
 
I surely hope Esquire will buy them in bulk again when a good deal comes along - hopefully they can get more next time.

@PsyWulf - why not use one for a media center/server?

Already have 1 as NAS and 1 as Media center :) Got a Playon in the bedroom and it's good enough for there

Might just rig these 2 as extra storage hubs

Very cool piece of kit. I bought one in January from HP Direct. They were selling like hotcakes back then too. Used mine to build an XBMC server. Its awesome!

I can't find the pricing on the esquire pricelist or website. How much did you pay for it?

Okay cool, I pretty much paid the same. Although in the myBB forums, some blokes picked them up somehow through some supplier for R800 each.
