E-tolling may be facing another hurdle

Viva DA!!!!

I can't see these issues being resolved before the end of the month so guess another extension is in order ;)

Say what you want, I love the way the DA is making this a politically hot issue now.

At some point the cANCer might just decide that they are loosing too much support here and drop the tolls.

Once again the law comes back to bite Sanral, and by implication government, in the ass. No wonder that the ANC's so lawyer-shy.

Best of all, if they follow through it'll be proper justification to point and laugh at those dumbasses who bought their shee-eee-p-tags already.

why a new contract for people alreay registered? when vodacom changed there t&c. for BB they did not ask everyone to come in and get a new contract. why is this different. just asking

Sounds like the original t&c's may have conflicted with existing laws and are therefore invalid and thus null & void.

Wish the tolls would actually just hurry up and go live, so they can fail and be shutdown sooner.

Agreed. All this politics stuff is boring.
I want to see some sparks fly when this thing goes live.

Is this a "get out of jail card" for those who signed up, and now regret it?
Muppets. Point and laugh.

Viva.

The sooner this fails the better. Scare the government elsewhere (like CPT ;)) off trying the same thing.
