Cheapest uncapped ADSL bundles in South Africa launched

If Mweb are going to price their new 2Mb offering to high, we might as well go for a 4Mb line like this.

How does one cancel with MWeb?

And what is the smoothest way to transfer a bundled account?

I bet Mweb already had an idea of what their pricing was going to be but now this from Afrihost is sending them back into another pricing meeting.

The next few days are going to be interesting.

BTW: How long does an all inclusive package take to migrate to another ISP? I know you need to give a months notice but how long does the ADSL line change take?

Its great pricing for now, but what happens when 384kbps users get a free upgrade to 1Mb? Once that happens it will be cheaper to not bundle it.

Hopefully the 1Mb for R397 will become 2Mb. 2Mb for R397 would be awesome!!

Got the 4Meg uncapped account, how do I transfer my Telkom ADSL to get the full package?

I see there are gaps left for 2Meg and 6Meg accounts :D

Great pricing btw.

The 4 and 10Mb pricing is outstanding.

With afrihost you can get 10Mb for the same price mweb offers 4Mb. That a win right there.

Awesome price on the 10 Meg. The low end ones will have to change again in August.

I wouldn't jump ship just yet. I will allow Mweb to respond with their pricing before moving across but with prices like these its going to be hard to beat.

If I ditched my telkom all access # gig something and mweb 1meg I'm looking at a cost saving of R292 if I port to Afrihost. I was on the unlimited some time ago but their aup killed it for me, but with better aup and throttling on the new uncapped accounts I've only heard positive news.

So well done Afrihost shaking up the market once again, I might become a future customer again just waiting on 2 meg uncapped pricing. :)

I'm also going to wait on mweb response. I really like their service and would be sad to move, but gettin 10mb for less then the 4mb I'm paying for is very hard to turn down!
