Apple, Android have gaming handhelds under pressure

Have to admit I'd struggle to justify a 3DS. I use my iPad2 for handheld gaming and it works brilliantly. Battery life, screen, graphics, all superior to the 3DS, and games are a fraction the price.

Same, love my Xperia Play, Transformer Eee Pad + PS3 controller and iPad when it comes to mobile gaming.

I feel no need to get a PS vita or 3DS, and this coming from someone that had a PSP and Nintendo DS.

Games are sooo much cheaper and a lot more accessible as I dont need to carry extra chargers or what not to play my games.

Thing is, PSP vita has more, complicated games... If crazier games come to Apple/Android (as in, real games like GTA etc), then the hand held is going to be squeezed out...

You mean like

Or maybe you should go see what Gameloft and companies like them are pushing out.

Example

Oh and it includes multiplayer with deathmatch and all.

The fall of gaming handheld's is eminent. Pads FTW (not the kind with wings tho...)
