Microsoft revamps Hotmail email service

Hotmail is generally awesome, still prefer it more than Gmail.

For me Yahoo! is the best.

I've got all three accounts and for sure will be getting Outlook.com.

Yahoo!'s the best because it has a lot more functionality as an email account than the others (Google and Hotmail) because I can open a number of folders and emails at the same time and see which one I opened.

I find it very hard to do what I want to do in Gmail. Navigation is tedious in Gmail and I always feel like I am being pushed to do something else other than the emailing I opened the account to do. Much the same with Hotmail. I hope Outlook addresses this problem.

Already reserved some Outlook usernames - you can create five aliases per account.

I must say, loving the Outlook.com interface - it is very clean! iPhone sync says it can't contact the server, though...

I like the new look being a user for many years complementing my Windows Phone OS with cloud storage such as 25GB Skydrive which includes Ms Office doc's etc. No compatibility problems. Forming part of the Windows Live ID/Windows Account system.

It looks clean, but I still hate MS for destroying Messenger

"Still to come, Microsoft says, is the ability to make Skype video calls directly from your inbox." Link: http://bit.ly/OIyhP9. Also in the MyBB story.

What precisely has changed for you? The actual streaming is peer-to-peer, so if it's degraded recenly you should speak to your ISP. For me, general reliability has increased since MS has been decommissioning the supernodes and installing their own back-end infrastructure to handle it.

Created a MS office email address last week. Trying to login again this week and it says my account doesn't exist but if i go forgot password and type in my email address it sends a forgot password request to my gmail email :wtf:

Facebook-friendly

Ugh

This is what, the 3rd re-launch in recent history? I still liked the old version the best, it worked a lot better on slow connections and didn't go back to the login screen when you use the back button on the browser.
