Article: Police have new plan to fight drugs and gangs

The national police department has a new plan aimed at gang and drug related violence, it was reported on Thursday.

Police spokesman Lindelo Mashigo told the Cape Times that the plan was developed by the national joint operational and intelligence structure, with various departments set to play a role.
 
I will get excited when their plans go over into action.
 
So now its the police department that will take the shine for this when in fact the DA asked for this?

Does it matter whether the cops or the DA get the shine? Fact is, something has to be done about gang violence.
 
No it does not but at first the police told the DA to **** off and now they claim that they thought out this plan. I just think it would be good to actually thanks the DA. But that's just me, hoping for something that will never happen.

when the DA goes in there with guns, then i'll thank them :p

kudos to them for not announcing the plan, wouldn't want to be like america posting spoilers are on their plans and manuevers on the news :p
