Well that didn't take long. A week after its $1.049 billion victory against Samsung, Apple has accused four more products of infringement in its other case against the electronics giant. It's the same lawsuit that targeting the Galaxy Nexus — for which Apple received a temporary injunction before the ban was lifted while Samsung appealed the decision.

According to an amended complaint filed today, Apple is naming "at least 21 new smartphones, media players, and tablets that Samsung has released beginning in August 2011 and continuing through August 2012." (The full list, which actually consists of 22 devices, is reproduced below). Some of the devices named were also part of the just-concluded trial, but are being named here because Apple is citing a different set of utility patents — eight of them in total.

Included in the revised list of accused products is the Galaxy S III, the Galaxy Note, and the Galaxy Note 10.1. Apple had originally gone after the Galaxy S III back in June, when it tried to have US sales of the device stopped before it was even launched. Judge Lucy Koh didn't comply due to scheduling issues.

After such a resounding victory last week, Apple is no doubt feeling emboldened on the legal front, with the wording of today's amendment clearly leaving open the possibility for it to add even more devices to its list. Many of the devices that were found to have infringed last week are no longer on the market, and those that are won't be up for any possible injunction until December at the earliest, so we wouldn't be surprised to see the company continue to push hard against Samsung's current product line, aiming for either another courtroom victory — or a settlement.

Apple's list of allegedly-infringing devices:

Galaxy S III
Galaxy S III (Verizon)
Galaxy Note
Galaxy S II Skyrocket
Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch
Galaxy S II
Galaxy S II (T-Mobile)
Galaxy S II (AT&T)
Galaxy Nexus
Illusion
Captivate Glide
Exhibit II 4G
Stratosphere
Transform Ultra
Admire
Conquer 4G
Dart
Galaxy Player 4.0
Galaxy Player 5.0
Galaxy Note 10.1
Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
Galaxy Tab 8.9

I hope they lose and get counter sued for being *******s.

Oh look, I have lawyers abusing the broken patent system instead of developing goundbreaking products ..

Apple knows the iPhone 5's is just another incremental rehash so lets prevent the competition from out-innovating us.

Staggeringly unbelievable. This is basically a blatent admission by Apple that they are unable to compete on a level competitive playing field.

The only losers are the American people. Samsung should pull out of America completely and see how the govt coffers are affected.

I am off to put an ipod touch and a macbook on ebay ; Replacing it with Samsung Players and other kit. I am drawing the line, I refuse to fund more cupertino lawsuits

I shouldn't be vindictive, but I hope someone like Anonymous gives it to these turds

ridiculous Apple such f@#$%^%$%$ Pri$$
not only is there line of Products so limited they want to limit eveyone else , well too bad for the Americans , they will loose out massively as the rest of the world moves on

Always liked apple products, but this really does just seem like corporate bullying that will stifle innovation and product development.
May be time for me to start throwing my tiny spend another way ...

Yes sir. The iSheep are financing this farking circus. Wanted to buy an iPad for the gf... but after this..

Feel like throwing my iPad in the ocean.

Do it!

Very glad to see that big corporates can't get away with just blatantly copying devices/patented work. Gives hope to all the young startups with great ideas that need protecting. Good work Apple!

Another lawsuit? Seriously Apple.

I am confused a little though, why the Galaxy S3 all of a sudden? That phone in no way looks like an iPhone. It is not even the same colour as an iPhone! It even says SAMSUNG on the front :). I also thought that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 was ruled as being different to the iPad, surely the other tabs in that range fall under the same judgment?

My opinion is that Apple have lost many sales to Samsung products (and in general other competitors like HTC, Nokia, LG and the like). In particular, many potential customers for the iPhone 5 have purchsed an S3/One X/Other top tier phone. I think what Apple is indirectly telling us is that these products are just as good as an iPhone. You cannot confuse an iPhone with an S3 (I stand to be corrected however).

Pfft. That young startup will get pawnt by Apple for having a rectangular screen. Bitch please

And the iFans believe I've gone off the deep end ...

Apple has the money to kill its opponents one after the other. This is economic WAR for ultimate domination. And only fools will believe such to be a good thing for us.

One cannot help getting the idea that Apple has run out of true innovative ideas and is falling behind in the huge surge happening now. Look at iOS. Not evolving fast enough anymore. The iPhone evolution is too slow. The iPad is not going anywhere fast ito new innovations. Lighter and faster with better screen is not good enough anymore.

Apple is not making friends ...
