Vodafone fined record amount for unfair trading

No surprises here... more Vodacom corruption... just another country!
 
And here, all the ASA says is "you are bad guys, don't do it again."

A study in irony.

I'm not upset VFNZ was fined - I took out a sim there and felt I was somewhat ripped off on the pricing.
 
To be fair, I recently did a trip from the south of NZ right up to Auckland, stopping at most towns on the way.

I bought a data sim in Dunedin, and used it throughout the trip, coverage was pretty good.

But it was somewhat overpriced, more than three times the price of the same thing in Oz.
