Sanral says 0.2 percent will pay e-toll cap

Sanral toll and traffic manager Alex van Niekerk has said that only 0.2 percent of Gauteng road users would pay the e-toll cap

Gauteng Road Users say that only 10 percent of Gauteng road users will pay any kind e-toll!!! :p

And how exactly did they come up with these @#$# figures??

It's not about the monthly impact on our pockets, it's about a R20bill system being chosen by corrupt officials instead of utilising existing methods of collecting the money.

Don't get an e-tag, don't pay your bills, let their system collapse its the only way they'll learn.

Bunch of liars.

It's sad that these clowns will be voted in again and again. In America they would have been shown the door after 4 years.

Your message can't be delivered because delivery to this address is restricted.

However as the Tshwane Distribution centre has been on strike since the beginning of October, don't hold your breath that it will be delivered.

Well, you could do something or you could do nothing.
But don't come back and blame us later because you did nothing.
And anyway, that strike was over a few days ago.

Technically over perhaps, but practically not so much. My EMS letter still isn't traceable, and it took a lot of dialing to get anybody to answer at EMS...

Send it registered mail then.
Or make ten copies and send all of them on different days.

Government still doesn't get it. The public do not like e-tolling ... full stop. It's an expensive mechanism for collecting revenue and with so much perceived skullduggery in this, no one trust them/it.

Yes! :)

But I would also send it by mail.

Just to clarify, you mean snail mail? I am assuming they will have some sort of auto-delete mechansim for emails.

Have they decided what they're going to do if, I mean when, nobody pays? Apart from sending us letters saying "my S-Class Merc and house in Bryanston aren't going to pay for themselves."
