Uncapped smartphone data in South Africa

These Xtreme packages should be the norm, not some super fancy special offering.

Where you buy x volume of data that runs at full speed, then you get "uncapped" at a much lower speed for the remainder of the month.

500MB @R75 x 2 from CellC would be better. 1 fully usable GB is probably best...

Shaping/throttling numbers should be in the article so a supposed max throughput could be guessed.

They're Xtreme-ly crap.

MTN has "uncapped" R299 for 3gig fullspeed + softcapped at 384kbit after that. Makes these Nashua deals look a little lame.
 
Nashua Mobile must be thinking that the average IQ of their customers are quite low to insult them like this.

The name says it all. I have seen a lot of posts regarding negative experiences with them, so I will not sign up with them.

i also still dont understand how 100Mb on a smartphone is seen as extreme data... and R59 at that.
and if 'extreme' isnt an odd enough description, they call it "unlimited" data, and we're not even talking about 100Mb a day, but a whole month?
my mother could go for that deal, coz she simply doesnt know any better... but then, she wouldnt be a smartphone user.
how many smartphone users have they got that signed up for this deal i wonder?
