When I saw the headline I thought I'd see Vodacom and MTN as the cheapest. Then I read the article and saw the 8ta and CellC were the cheapest. This study has changed everything we knew about prepaid tariffs. Who knew that CellC's 99c per minute is actually cheaper than Vodacom's R1.40 per minute.

MTN - probably no comment - or might go an about mahala minutes etc.
 
At this rate MTN will have a network full of Ayoba customers and the only thing Vodacom will be "doubling" is the number of customers porting over to Cell C :D

We all know they didn't use some junior to get the pricing off each carrier's website and plug them into an excel table.

But, honestly I think the most who are confused are the one's who continually allow themselves to be fleeced by Vodacom and MTN.
 
Now ICASA knows what we already knew...

Since I'm on Cell C my airtime lasts forever. With Vodacom it felt that all I did was recharge the whole time as I kept on running out of airtime...
