We have had alot of queries regarding this via email, thus I will post it here.

I just got November free- December debit order just went off :D

I see existing customers can't switch- do I need to cancel the current package then sign up again? :confused:

Or can I request now to move to the 1Mbps Vanilla from 1Jan?
 
Could i get a test account :)

Or alternatively someone with a 1MB line post speeds and latency's.
with your general experience of the product

Like i said in OW other thread, I need to have an account that can cope with gaming and TS3 without shaping me to hell when it become impossible to do either


Just a question, stupid as it might be, I currently have a 1mb line, I could afford OW's 2MB uncapped, I wouldnt be able to use it to its full potential right? Seeing as i would need to upgrade my telkom line?

Hi Budza

If you are on a current promotion, you will first have to submit your notice for the current account.

Your connection runs at whichever is the lower of the two between your line and account speed. There's a slight advantage to running a slower account on a faster line, but the only time that's even practical is if you're on 4mb+ speeds as Telkom doesn't differentiate between 4mb or 10mb lines. There is absolutely no point in doing it the other way around however.
 
It is a no fuss account.

It does what it says on the box. It is shaped during busy periods, and unshape when the network is not busy. In Vanilla's case is around 50% of any given month.

I'm keen on applying for this, but even though I have R2k in my wallet, I currently have R0 in my bank account. If I signed up for it now, would I have time until tomorrow before the debit comes off?

And a rather interesting question: Your "PRE christmas special"
What sort of account is that? Budget capped or Gold?

Please refresh the page, as the graphic is correct.

Once all accounts are sold out, the promotion will end. I'm afraid we cannot say when this will happen, as it all depends on how quickly we sell the stock available :)

Two questions:
If I sign up now will the price remain the same for the duration of the contract?

Being IS accounts are they similar, as in will I be able to do around 200GB/m on the 10Mb account without being "managed" to 50kB/s, to what AfriFail and Axxsht used to resell before their move to MTN?
