R1999 at Edgars Canal Walk. They have a promotional stand opposite Primi, I got a Bluetooth headset, 2 covers, a mug, a drinking bottle a skipping rope and a coffee mug for free.

And what do you think? Happy with it... Give some feedback as you get used to it please.

i was just about to open a tread that CNA are selling those for R2000.
any reviews on the phone?

by the way....does anyone know if it's available on contract?

So far I like it, no issues yet. It feels very responsive and I love the super amoled screen. Will give more info once I've had time to play with it.

I got mine from CNA on Friday. It is real value for money - I was considering importing a no name Chinese phone when I heard about this deal, could not sleep Thursday night. Sadly there is a dearth of forums and info for this device, but still at the price I paid I am absolutely happy. No covers found so far. At R2000 it would have worked out to R83/month x 24 which is so sweet.

It being sold on Vodacom prepaid is the only catch. My main number is on MTN prepaid, so either I port the number or stick to the Vodacom SIM to preserve the warranty. I also have a MTN contract SIM (phone went to my brother) - so it sucks that the networks say that I will loose warranty if I use a different network.

Since there is no value for money with Vodacom (and MTN is worse for that matter) after a couple of weeks I will take a chance on the warranty. After all, if I stick with Vodacom I would be bleeding money anyway.

Battery life seems a bit high though. Reviews have not been unfavourable, but with the WIFI, GPS, and bluetooth off it is down to 70% 15 hours later, idle. And the battery is not use swappable.

Thus far I'm really enjoying this phone. Battery has been going strong since 22 hours ago, needless to say I've been messing with it so battery life is excellent. Screen is beautiful, the colours are brilliant. Running 3G and wifi with no disconnect issues. For a R2000 it feels like a solid phone. No problems with ICS and I'm getting used to the keyboard. Coming from Blackberry and a Galaxy tab I thought I would have problems getting used to a smaller touchscreen keyboard but so far it's going well.

I haven't had battery issues, but I use the energy saver mode and automatic screen brightness.
