Woolworths hit by “major technical issues”

Would be interesting to know how many millions of rands they must have lost today due to people being unable to pay with their debit or credit cards.
 
I wonder what will put out their credit card systems, as well as the online systems, but the Woolworths store card (i.e. for discounts - not credit) still works?

In other words - they can still track what you buy, you just have to pay cash.

You can't detect problems with a race card silly, only fix it. Race cards don't have electronic components. :rolleyes:

And besides, with their technical issues the race card would not have worked at Woolworths anyway

The store card, for credit, worked fine today.
