Telkom International slow

@ ranger can we have an official take on when uncapped accounts will be soft capped please.

e.g a 1M account will be capped when you reach x amount
a 2M account will be capped when you reach y amount and so on

I see that with an uncapped account we can no longer monitor out data usage on the Telkom Tracker. This becomes frustrating when we are trying to stay in these set limits. Can we not have a Telkom tool to do this please

My ping just went through the roof (380+) with alot of lag. It was go1od for a couple of days - connection quality is quite erratic at the moment.
Still the same for me too... completely erratic with lots of trips to the low end as below... :-(

How nice. I logged into TItracker and get this message.

"Thank you for logging onto the Telkom Internet Usage Tracker Tool. You are on an Uncapped product and therefore usage tracking is not applicable to you."

How is this possible?, weren't you softcapped, my friend gets this message as well, although we have similar accounts and usages?, I still get the softcapped message....

Hey, getting full 4mb uncapped speed again and no problems with Youtube anymore! What changed?

I am been getting these dodgy pings since I hit the soft cap:

Haven't done any tests, but I tried to play MW3 on my PS3 and I had single red bar against other SA players instead if 4 or 3 green bars when I usually play South Africans.
Had so much lag that I stopped playing.
Some of the other guys also had single red bars and most of the others had green bars.

Not good.

My TI 4Mb uncapped account is at line speed again, after being throttled to 100kb/s last week.

Any better now (after 21h00)?

Worse on my side. Everything's still pretty slow, Google won't load, for crying out loud. Youtube streaming doesn't work, still have high latency on the second hop and after that. Also, Google Instant doesn't work either (loads searches as you type).

did TI even test their solution before implementing it? When I do anything at the office it needs to be tested before it goes out to production. get a QA/DEV environment.
