Seacom says full capacity restored

Can someone inform MWEB to stop throttling us now
 
I'm confused. Does this mean the cable itself is completely fixed or simply that they've just manged to restore "normal service" but via alternate routes? My latency is still much higher than usual, so I'm not convinced it's completely sorted...

They just sourced other capacity. The cable should be fixed in early April.
 
Well lets see if Mweb gives everyone some form of compensation. Just like Afrihost gave everyone 2 weeks of unshaped internet after their customers suffered for a few weeks. But, knowing mweb...
 
What grade A BS, my 10mbps line is still syncing at 1mbps speeds and cant even load INT sites!!! I dunno what these fags repaired but sure as hell isnt anything that will benefit us SA users!

If your line is syncing at the wrong speed that has nothing to do with SEACOM. But perhaps you just need to check your terminology.
 
I think the guys that controls the throttling at MWEB is on leave no difference for me.
