Hey Guys (And Gals)

Just like to share the following with you guys!

If you have no Telkom infrastructure in your area and tired of trying to find a good ISP:

Give these guys a try! www.level-7.co.za

They have uncapped packages from 1Mbps to 10Mbps! Great prices! (Cheaper than Telkom and other ISP's)
and their service and support is really exceptional!

Oh, and you actually get what you pay for!!

I am on their 8Mbps (R1150) package and my speeds are constant ALL of the time!!
They also offer static public IP

Oh, and just incase you are wondering, No, I am not working for them...lol I have just been with countless wireless ISP's over the past 3 years and these are the first guys that actually deliver on their promise and that has a stable network and awesome customer service!!:D
 
Your 10ms ping beats my 70ms adsl ping.
Don't know what the going rate for wireless internet pings are, but 10ms seems pretty good!

What does the antenna look like that they fit onto your roof?
 
Looks good. Would you mind doing the following tests ?

(assuming windows OS)
ping -t mybroadband.co.za (stop it after, say, 10 ping replies)
tracert mybroadband.co.za

Hi There,

They use Airgrid antenna's.. However i am using a Nano M5 as i already had one!

Hmm, maybe my wifi connection to the adsl router has something to do with it, or Afrihost is still having issues??

Do you know what the antenna and installation costs are?
Which tower are you connecting to?

Been with them for about 6Months now..
Not sure what the installation and equipment costs are as I already had a Nanostation on my roof and picked up their AP: I'm connected to "1337net AP - East"

But give them a shout, (Igor or Christian) they are extremely helpful and friendly! :D

Hi there!

It would be really awesome if you do expand your coverage! I live in the Lonehill/Fourways area.. We have no WISP's here and adsl is terrible! You guys would be quite succesful here!

Thanks for the words of support guys! We do appreciate it. We will definitely keep you updated should we expand coverage into Joburg. Its on the cards !
 
Hey everyone,

I am also a Level 7 customer, been with them for about 6+ months.
Used to connect to the network via login from one of the hotspots. On a long weekend the owner of where the hotspot was located was away and the power went down. I called Chris from Level-7 and told him about the problem, he was super helpful and efficient, the next day he was at my place to install an antenna and setup everythin so that i wouldnt have to connect via the hotspot anymore.
Their service is the best, not even comparable to other ISP & WISP. If i have any issues, send a mail and within minutes i have a reply and the issue is attended to. Im on the 4mbps and the speed is very constant.

Im dreading the day i have to move from Centurion ;-p

@Level7-admin do you have a tower in Raslouw ? Am considering your services. Reason I ask is I live in a valley and the coverage map might not be accurate in my situation. Want to check LOS
