Google Play Music All Access subscription service announced

I'm still pretty happy with Simfy, which is available locally and a little bit cheaper. There are songs that aren't available, true, but for my tastes 99% of what I want is there. And with the off-line mode I can collect a bunch of playlists on my device when connected via wifi so I don't need to worry about mobile data prices.
Not a good solution for everybody, but a frequently overlooked option that should suffice for many.

And so google will clone and crush another company, in this case Spotify

And that somehow justifies it?
Bizarre..

No one mentioned the word justify except you. Bizarre....

In the mean time, I am going to go browse the itunes music store and see if there are any songs I want.

The only problem with Google's behaviour is their ridiculous sanctimony. If they just owned what they did it would be far better. What is interesting to me is if they really believe their bullsht or if it is all just a show.

Agreed 100%.
There is nothing wrong with copying and crushing. Thats business.
It does however fly in the face of their don't be evil policy.

And to make it worse, Larry Page just said that Google should be building new things that don't exist. Yet what they have just done again is clone an existing product from someone else. Don't be evil indeed
