SAPS website hacked, sensitive information leaked online: reports

Can anyone find a login/register input anywhere on the site? I'm assuming they are talking about the SAPS intranet, if they one??

police spokesperson Phuti Setati first denied any security breach, but after being furnished with the evidence said that “we would like to reserve comment on the matter at the moment.”
Sounds about right for government behavior. Deny everything blindly & hope it goes away. If they present proof then dodge the question & make sure you're in fckin Timbuktu for the next 3 weeks - preferably without teleconferencing or any other communication facilities. Pray that another scandal hits the news within those 3 weeks to take the heat off you (a pretty sure bet given the jokers in charge tbh).

Shoo... so many ID numbers, addresses, complaints, contact numbers, etc
Just glad I'm not in there :p

I am, for a webmaster query I did yeeeeaaars ago, so it's legit! Hope that Google's spam filtering keeps the extra phishing mails at bay :)

That's pretty hectic!!
wonder if the "Send As Anonymous" option on the SAPs form records your IP

So the dumb-ass released whistle blower details, way to go protecting society...

My thoughts exactly! So this f**ktard thinks he's protecting society by releasing confidential information about whistle-blowers and tip-offs?

What an idiot! I hope they catch him and lock him away for a long time!!
