"Commend me" says Minister Dina Pule

This woman is deluded. Someone slap her or something, she is suffering a break with reality.

who's the bigger clown in our government circus, Pule or Zoomer?

And I wonder what Sekese is getting paid?

Pule says she's not even in the office, or aware where Sekese is.

Hey, but who cares?

Give her credit... she knows what she's doing....

Problem is, nobody else have a ***** idea.....

No, Dina... we will not commend you.

We want to see you disciplined, and prosecuted for the chaos you have plunged the DoC into (even further than even Ivy managed). We will commend the people who manage to put you behind bars.

Delivering a budget speech does not equate to her knowing what she is doing. This is the DoC. We need her to understand the technicalities of "C"ommunications and have a passion for the improvement thereof in our fair country.

Or does she think the "C" in DoC stands for "Conversation". Yeah sounds about right - She thinks she is leading the Department of Conversation. Explains a lot.

I don't think people give Pule credit where it's due. Not only does she have to come in to work and do nothing all day, but she has to also multitask multiple backhanded deals and on top of that, go home and look at that ugly face in the mirror.

So next time, before criticizing, think about all she does.

Simply watch the scoreboard. Seven years now and we are still struggling along at a pricey 4mbps max Digital migration of SABC - no end in sight. And the honorable Minister, well she is fighting with the press, fighting with the director general, paying her boyfriend a lot of money to organize conferences to talk about a strategy forward - but we are actually going backwards. :mad:

“Actually, you must commend me for [being] able to present a budget speech without the DG’s participation, which shows I understand what I’m doing,” Pule fired back.

Pule said she had seen very little of Sekese since she returned to her position.

[highlight]“I don’t know whether she’s in the office or not.[/highlight]

Contradictory statements from a clueless person who doesn't know nor care about the department she is being paid to manage.

Perhaps Pule meant to say "Condemn me" and got the words mixed up.

Is she ****ing kidding us?!!

What is there to thank her for? She has lost touch with reality.

"**** off" says everyone else.

Hey! How did that make it through the automatic filters!

Maybe you can figure out how to get us custom avatars as well!

On Topic:
How sad that DoC is not taken seriously (unlike Finance) - it's the backbone of our future but cabinet has regard for the portfolio.

I certainly shall trot out the most excellent reply from The Usenet Oracle (suitably modified)...

THE SCENE: A dark antechamber of the DoC's secret bunker, dimly lit by three 20"
monitors suspended from the ceiling. In the middle of the room is a
Pentium/100Hz, sheathed in a black casing. Three technicians dance around
the machine, chanting horribly. Their pale, clammy complexion is cast
hideously by the light of the monitors, rendered even more repugnant to the
watchful eye bye the 60Hz flicker of the monitors.

FIRST TECHNICIAN: Thrice the brinded net hath mewed.

SECOND TECHNICIAN: Thrice, and once the VDSL-pig whined.

THIRD TECHNICIAN: MacHarpier cries. 'Tis time, 'tis time!

FIRST: Round about the terminal go;
In the poisoned upgrade throw.
Faulty modems, which by a student done
In minutes numbering sixty-one.
Noise errors, disconnection fault,
Crash ye first, crash ye shalt.

ALL: [as they dance around the Pentium]:
Double, double, toil and trouble;
Tempers burn and data bubble.

SECOND: Fillet of a DSL modem bake,
In the WindersPC no connection make;
Point of arrow, click of mouse,
Scream of user, frightened spouse,
Speed doth appeal,
No worries I feel.
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

ALL: Double, double, toil and trouble;
Tempers burn and data bubble.

THIRD: Click "Refresh" button, speed of slug,
You would think you forgot the modem's plug.
Full speed, ha ha ho
If just one k worked you'd be good to go.
This should grab those straggling few
Who aren't using our Diginet hose.
Now we shall the ISDN eclipse,
While curse words cross our users' lips.
Leave the line noise in so we can fix
And sell more... Infinitcallix!
And so we will disconnect the line for DSL data
For corruption of their data.

ALL: Double, double, toil and trouble;
Users buy, our profits quadruple.

SECOND: Fix it with speed throttling though,
Since the users have no clue.

[Enter DINA PULE to the other three TECHNICIANs.]

DINA: O, well done! I commend your pains,
And everyone shall share i' the gains.
And now about the modems get,
But NEVER use it on OUR net.
Speed is scarce put in.

[Beeps of PONG heard in the background.]

[Exit DINA.]

SECOND TECHNICIAN: By the usage of my DSLs
Wicked Hackers this way comes.
Open locks,
Whoever knocks!

[Fade to black.]
