Microsoft releases revs up developers for Windows 8 apps

MS has never finished anything. They just throw it at the public and expect them to help correct their mistakes at their cost. Then we sit with updates and updates and as soon as it begins to work they through a new system at you and the crap starts all over again.

That's just the way the universe works. It's called evolution. Just like the genetic one, tech evolution is punctuated - big change, followed by a longer periods of incremental change, followed by big change (ie platform shifts)..., etc.

DOS ... Win 3.0--3.1--3.11 ... Win95--98 ... NT4~W2K--XP ... Vista--Win7 ... Win8--8.1--8.x ..., etc.

All the fun will disappear when the tech matures. The gaps between platform changes grow larger, the tech stabilises, and change is incrementally smaller. Boring.
