Apple said to be testing bigger iPhones, iPads

Okay maybe a larger iPad will work, but a larger iPhone....I don't think so.

I would move back to iPhone from my current Samsung Galaxy SIII, if Apple were to bring out a larger screen - similar in size to the S III or even the Note II. I don't like the current long and skinny iPhone 5, it needs to be wider.

But a 13" iPad ? forget it, it loses it's appeal as something you can carry around with you when it is that size. My move from iPad 2 to an iPad Mini, showed me that the 7 " mini is the perfect size. Small enough to mount on the dash and use as a GPS, yet big enough to browse the internet on.

Oh really?

I though Apple said the perfect size was 3.99 inches - now the competition is miles ahead and now they playing catch up! :D

"The larger iPhones would appear to be a response to the success of top line smartphones from the likes of Samsung, HTC and Motorola "

Motorola? Really?

Personally, not so much for a bigger iPhone. But I do know people who'd be lining up for it. Bigger iPad could also work though. Who knows? A colleague of mine uses the 13" Lenovo Yoga and he loves it.

Remember the 'square shape with rounded corners' patent .. what a joke this company has become!

I realize that this is futile, but the patent in question:

Where exactly is the claim of "square shape with rounded corners"?

It came from the mouth of a Samsung lawyer, and then, being the Internet age, automatically became fact. It's the same as the Facebook "facts" like green peppers with 3 lobes are female, 4 male, BS
