Yea definitely overpaid for the way they performed - that's the thing, they completely underperformed last season... I believe that the raw talent is however there - which is a shame. To me, the amount they're paid just shows the owner's commitment and love for the club even more - maybe it was somehow misspent I guess - not something that they're known for.

I'm not in any way saying that they were wronged - it's just a bunch of great players and management which I would love to watch and follow live through the season, rather than be limited to the odd news article here and there.

Agree. With the players and depth that they had, they should have at least a mid table team.

What are odds on relegation candidates ?

For me it's stoke, hull and hopefully though I doubt it Aston Villa.

Nope, this season and the next will tell. If he gets a third.
Rodgers still to prove himself but the performances from the last 10 games of last season does give hope.
