The numbers don't lie,but how is this possible when rand for rand Cell C and Telkom Mobile offer the better/attractive data packages.

*Sigh* I give up on the South African consumers mindset, never ever willing to shop around and do some basic research on what they purchase.

Data users increased to 13.9 million, which MTN said is as a result of attractive data packages.

Anyway, on positive note, I'm getting great speeds on 8ta probably as a result of less traffic on the network,let them fight it out on the MTN network then.

Their data subscribers might grow but I know for a fact that their phone subscribers is not! I know of a lot of people in Cape Town calling it a day for MTN.

Yes you do.

MTN Group has on Wednesday (14 August) reported that its total subscriber base for South Africa declined by 420,000 to 25 million in interim results for the six months ended June 2013.
