Afrihost ADSL "South region" issue

Yeah speeds are terrible right now, but I understand faults do occur, all I ask is to be kept in the loop. keep up the good work AfriGuy.

Our Mobile and ADSL networks aren't linked, sounds like we'll need to have a better look at this for you. Please PM me.
 
My Afrihost business DSL is almost dead. I've rebooted my router about ten times today, and every time the acceptable latency only lasts a few minutes before things slow to a crawl. Online gaming is impossible.
 
The Southern Region DSL has been affected by an IPC failure. Telkom Specialists are onsite resolving the issue as quickly as possible.
 
Not Just Afrihost

Im almost sure this is issue is affecting not just Afrihost but all ISP's.

Im on Axxess and my internet speed is virtually non-existent - I'm getting like 5KB/s on a 10Mb line.

Axxess is our Sister company - using the same IPC links.
If you're in CPT/ Southern region you will see higher latencies and slow downloads.
 
so.. .. .. .. it was quicker for me to download a 200mb file & walk 3 doors down the road with a flash drive than to send it via net :D

At this stage it's the better option :(
We'll have this sorted soon though, promise!
 
is KZN also affected? More specifically Zululand region? Still seeing weird issues on my side but im not sure if im actually having a problem syncing :/
