Hi folks,

I just noticed this add on the forum and would like to know if anyone has any experience with this service.
I currently have a 10Mb capable line, but due to bandwidth price have stuck to a 2Mb Mweb account.

If this is any good, i will consider upgrading.
Your comments would be appreciated.

What about that disclaimer at the bottom of the page: * Please note that this summer special will be revised in January 2014. (or maybe not)

I assume you will hoping for the "maybe not" option.

Cheers,
Brett

so far good , but i only used 20gb , so i am not managed yet i would guess.
Your p2p and other downloads get managed from the start I Think. I gave them a spin from yesterday and must say I am impressed so far. We had streaming running on 4 devices at the same time and I played poker on-line and downloaded a p2p file all at the same.
I look at my my services and was managed. But nobody reported any hiccups. So far so good.
the P2p File downloaded 11 gig by this morning at 7.

I have download 80 G in five days that is 16 G / day what works out as 496 G for November. my speed when down like rock bottom. I was at G connect before and download 560 G for the month with no Managing so this will be the last see of me and I will tell every body I know. It took me more than 30 Min to download 9.6 MB on a 10 Mbps line!

I signed up for the 10mb uncapped account on Friday (1st).
I could not connect(authenticate) until the next day, so I had to use a backup account. I logged a ticket as soon as I noticed the auth problem on Friday, but they only responded to the ticket yesterday (5th). My line syncs at 6mb, but I have yet to see an http download coming down at more the 1.5mb.
I've promptly set to account to cancel at the end of Nov and will try someone else.

Well on IS based 10Mbps uncapped accounts, I do about 60GB per day during the week, and on weekends 90GB per day. Just saying, you get what you pay for.

Is the throttling/shaping policy different from the R495 for life special?
Or is it because the contention ratios have increased with more users on board.

I have noticed a difference myself?

Axxess please advise.

Om wat mee te doen?

I'm on that dodgy life time special for 10meg uncapped account, my torrents run at 30kbps, and I do like 30GB a month, if I use my buddies vpn server, then its downloading @ legit speed.

So I guess stuff you axxess and afrihost

Holy smokes Batman!

How much do you spend on hard drives?
More than I would like to admit.

Recently sold a bunch of hard drives, to upgrade to 6x 4TB in raidz2. Sold 2x 3TB drives, 2x 1TB drives and 1x 1.5TB and 1x 2TB drives. Next round I need to buy another 6x 4TB drives. These all now go into a rackmounted server I have at home.

lol

ZFS is rerig amazing.
