Is WhatsApp worth $19bn?

Why would Facebook want another messaging app, and one that is so publicly and vehemently against all forms of advertising?

When FB bought Instagram all the assurances that it will stay the same were chucked shortly afterwards.

Watching in anticipation, but tried Telegram, quite good

When FB bought Instagram all the assurances that it will stay the same were chucked shortly afterwards.

Watching in anticipation, but tried Telegram, quite good. It has something Whatsapp could never do (without a workaround) - desktop messaging
