So I couldn't wait and got my account early.

Even compared to the capped I was using this month, this Web Africa account actually surpasses it. Pings are better too.

Haven't had a chance to test out torrents but will test just now.
 
Ok torrents are maxing my line.

Browsing feels a lot snappier too.

My new favourite account. :)
 
I'd suggest waiting a bit before proclaiming that...WA tends to start out well and end with mixed results. Maybe the fact that its a biz account will help with that though.

Well I'll update this thread in a month then. But the whole reason I got a biz account was to avoid all the crap with the home accounts. I think a lot of people don't realize that when it comes to uncapped, you get what you pay for.

I'll be testing Netflix a little later and report on that too.

Apparently it is, but the thresholds are much, much higher. Also the priority of the account is the same as their home capped accounts.

I only use around 250gigs a month though. So won't go anywhere near it.

Well I have been watching my network monitor. Both Netflix and Twitch now use more of my line speed than they did before. Twitch I was streaming on high without a stutter. Graphs showed consistency. I think Netflix has gone up a step in quality too from what I can see. Actually definitely looks better.

4Meg. Thinking of upping my line speed back to 6Meg though while using the 4Meg account. Might do that next month.

Haven't been paying close attention to WA lately but it was solid even years back. So unless they truly fk'd it up and made it worse I'd imagine it is equal/better than solid right now.

Last I checked they had a data monitor incl CSV/Excel file download (<<do not underestimate the importance of that dear ISPs) I do recall there were some disagreements about the *category* of the traffic though...e.g. people claiming it should fall within DL+ times and the monitor did not count it as such.

Pretty sure the above should not affect the product being discussed by OP though.

You should really consider their 200GB + 200GB capped option then.Will save you some money and you can utilise the full speed of your ADSL line.

I don't think you realize the point of uncapped. I don't have time everyday to count bytes.

Well yeah. So I can move to another account if it will be a problem. An account must suite my usage. I won't change my usage to fit the account.
 
I agree fully.
I'm in a similar boat to you at the moment.
200-250gb a month max but i want good service 24/7.
 
Just wow.

720p DailyMotion streams used to also be slow, but on this new account not a stutter to be seen.
