Is the PS4 worth buying?

Short Answer: Yes!

Long Answer: YEESSSSSSSssssss!!

Xbox One hits SA in september so if you not in a hurry you should see a few specials floating about around then.
Also GTA V come out on next gen consoles and PC toward the end of the year so I forsee some pretty good bundles and more games for the PS4 by then at the moment great games on the PS4 a little slim, but E3 show thier is a lot of intresting stuff heading to the Next Gen consoles soon enough!
 
If you don't already have a PC or a 360/PS3 then maybe when there are actual games worth the price tag.

I might consider a PS4 when MGS V comes out.

Please tell me again how the previous gen's 256/512mb RAM was more than enough for the whole lifetime of the console, that it managed to stay on par with pc games?

Edit: And I never said pc's dont need upgrades, but upgrading just your RAM when you need more RAM sure beats having to wait half a decade (or more)for the next gen to come out so you can upgrade your whole system

Look the PS3 was around for 7yrs, getting a PS4 now won't change thet fact that you'll have a PS4 for a good long time before it gets replaced, well maybe not ps3 long but surely not Samsung S3 long (those who bought a samsung phone walked out the store and the S4 was on sale). Anyway the games will come and fun will be had!

only if you qualify on the following :

current pc rig is from 2005 or do not have one.

do not already own a ps3 or xbox

=============================

then the negatives (things you should have like money and stable fast internet) :

price per game

hardware ( seriously, R800 a remote ? WTF ? does it make waffels or boerie rolls atleast)

stable / fast adsl needed , should atleast be uncapped 4mb for those big downloads

*** watch E3 2014 to get a nice good taste of some ps4 goodness *** im going to watch the sony conference this weekend, its an hour or so long.



*i had ps3, sold it and got accepted into the pc master race. CANNOT WAIT FOR GTA 5 pc version. i had over 200 hours on gta 5 ps3 lol

bought the PS3 when it first came out (the fat version)...it was awesome (backward compatible and all that jazz).

however, it came with a one year guarantee and the drive broke one month after the guarantee period was over. Ended up getting another a year later after all the bugs were finally sorted...So I would suggest waiting until all the bugs are identified and fixed....

HAha stayed on par? what world did that happen on cause it surely wasn't earth!
BTW 8gig of ram is good enough for any gaming rig go google it, people want 16gig and all but proformance boost is neglegible.
PC owners just want to be elitest.

I know some idiot who bought a graphic card to upgrade just because it had more ram, then he bitched casue it didn't work as well but mean time he had bought a lower series GPU. the dumbass
