I hope that will work. If Amazon base your region on your credit card billing address, then we are out of luck.

Wonder if you use something like Entropay if you can bypass the credit card region thingy.
 
If you have a US account go into your account and look for "manage content".In settings change your region to US.Worked for me and I have a 30 day free trial.

Did you have to enter a U.S. address before you could change your region?
