MTN reveals street light towers

I saw them put one up on Bryanston Drive today, near the Riverside Shopping Center. Looks quite neat.

Have any residents thrown a fuss about having these antennas so close to their properties? Or do they pose less of a potential health risk than normal cell towers?

Most those guys don't REALLY care about the health risks, it's all about not having an unsightly antenna nearby devaluing their property. Seeing these won't be eyesores, I doubt there'll be much outcry.

Good idea. Imagine the cost to drunkards that wipe out one of these with their car.

Clever Idea MTN, I'll give you that. However I'm surprised residents havent been complaining about the "health risk"... LOL, No health risk.

This is also true for cable theft. It will put those street lights at an bigger risk with the extra cables being fed into them.

It should however be fibre being fed into them not copper, although people still seem to think there is value in fibre once they've been cut..LOL
