To me that feels a little too political and picking sides to be a safe PR quote. I don't know if the "edgyness" adds enough to be worth alienating customers with different political leanings.

Well, I'm not an ANC supporter and only found the English Football Team comment amusing. It's not because of the dig at the ANC, but I'm just sick and tired of politics weaving its way into everything lately.

On the one hand the is constant bitching about bandwidth hogs and the amount of data being consumed. In order to curb it WA is applying Fair Usage Policies and throttling their users.

Don't know how these competitions can be justified.

I used to be a WA client but was throttled to such an extent that the service was unusable as my usage was very high. Most of my usage was between 12-6 AM as it was downloads that was scheduled, which did not make any difference.

I am with Afrhost at the moment and the service is great.

Think you getting a bit confused on which product this promo is attached too :confused:. It's only for capped customers and only for data used between 12-6am so it does not affect any capped or uncapped customers daytime (06h00-00h00) experience. Throttling and Fair Usage Policy's are only attached to Uncapped accounts only.

Glad to hear you enjoying your current ISP :)

So does that mean that it is more beneficial to be a capped customer than a uncapped customer. Uncapped customers is subject to FUP's and capped customers not. I am not talking about traffic from 06h00 to 0h00.

If you're a high usage customer I'll always recommend business uncapped. Most home accounts aren't good enough for the people on this forum. Regardless of ISP.

Even though they meant it as a joke it came across as they were picking sides,while this is fine for me since I don't like the ANC,for a company its just not the right approach IMO.

Alienating part of your customer base is not doing your company any favours at all.

How is saying the DA doesn't win taking sides? So telling the truth is somehow taking sides?

Guess me saying that EFF didn't win the last elections means I like them now?

Now don't get me wrong,I completely agree that the statement is true and I would gladly say the same in my personal capacity but due to its political nature I would not use it for PR for a company as it could alienate some of your customers.

Yeah I laugh, because Nando's doesn't mention names(JZ,DA etc) Nando's just makes fun of random made up ministers with ideas that apply to most of our current ministers.

In fact their new ad with the ministers blue lights brigade getting the finger from a taxi was hilarious.:D
 
I don't like the idea of the lucky draw, lets rather do the "who downloads the most" again :D

Oh well... Guess we can download again for a few days to hit the 1TB mark... Should be there by the weekend :)
 
ran out of things to download last month..managed 400gb

now i'm going to get the entire YIFY movie library ...HD movies at 750 mb :D
