As the title suggests, I'm looking for fellow Destiny players on the PS4

Depending on the feedback in the thread, I'll compile a list of all players on the various platforms

whats the latency situation with this game? I take it its all online and assume we will be playing on european servers? Is the lag noticeable?

Latency hasn't been too bad on 3g personally, Only noticed desyncing of enemies/players (they start teleporting instead of moving) once or twice over the past 2 weeks...other than that, just a couple NAT issues

The game will try place you into a regional instance in the Social zone, so you'll see many ZA IDs running around.

Matchmaking/playing with guys overseas hasn't been a problem, they usually end up running off in the distance when I finish loading into the map :p

what do you mean? so you cant play in the crucible and strike missions etc?
 
Hi Guys
I just got the game, and getting a load full of connection errors
the lastest one is zebra right after the char selection screen

are any of you destiny players having problems
platform ps4
 
What connection are you using, does your router have NAT/UPNP setup?

When you run an Internet Test, what NAT shows up?
 
PSN: MagicDude4eva. KTO has been horrific and I have not been able to get past story level 12 without being kicked to orbit (as recent as Saturday after Bungie released fixes).

So for now I am doing the Cosmodrome staircase looting to get my crypto/gear up (and no, I am not ashamed, it takes skill :whistle:)

If you're on PS4 I'll add you this evening and give you a hand with the story if you like, at least if you get KTO you can then rejoin the Fire Team and continue progress :)

Gotten anything decent? I'm almost 27 with no purple engrams dropped and I spend hours on bounties daily

Got a ton. I found that if you manage to kill the whole mob at once, that more engrams drop. I use the rocket-launcher which takes out everyone and when you drop all the way to the bottom of the staircase, the mob spawns almost instantly. I alternate than with pulse-rifle and grenades.

I doubt I will play during the week - it's just to busy at the moment.

Forgot to mention - none of the purple engrams decoded into a legendary although they say there is a 35% chance :-(

Hasnt this been patched though? I tried it but they never spawned after the first time.

I worked on Monday. There is a specific sequence you need to do - i.e. clear out the mob on the top right hand corner of the map (where the containers are and the staircase up with the big hole in the wall). Then make sure that there is no mob outside and if cleared, you need to get down the staircase to the bottom. Mob would spawn within 10-15 seconds.

If this is in the Rocket Yard, it was patched this passed Tuesday sadly.

When you begin the Cosmodrome Patrol, walk forward to the building in front of you - this is where MagicDude is referring to.
