Prepare for the worst load shedding since 2008

By Sunday morning Eskom spokesperson Andrew Etzinger confirmed that the silo, which houses 10 000 tons of coal and supplies all six units at Majuba has collapsed. Nobody was injured.

In an interview on Talk Radio 702 he called it “catastrophic” and said it had nothing to do with maintenance, but rather with the construction work that was completed 20 years ago.

Mbombela was also out from 8:00 to 10:00. No info or schedule as far as I can see.
 
Interesting, wasn't affected by the shedding yet today. However my area should have been 6am to 8:30am and 12:00-14:30, but nothing. So either schedules are wrong, or my area is very lucky thus far today.

Will make sure all devices are fully charged at least.

I guess the situation has become more serious during the day. It's hard to tell exactly - Cape Town shifted its website status from 'no load shedding' to level 3 about an hour ago and Eskom had it's site on level 2 a short while ago. I'm planning my afternoon as if we are on level 3

Can anyone anywhere confirm they are being dumped as per schedule?
 
The Cape Town website claims that it is Level 3 not Level 2 - is this correct? That means it will be far more widespread than Level 2.

It's academic anyway, since from past experience the city load shedding schedule bears no relation to what actually happens.

Edit:
Must be level 3. There is no load shedding on the Cape Town schedule for Sundays in level 2.
