Hackers tricked their way into ICANN computers

You'd think the people working for (what essentially is) the internet, would know stuff like SPF records on their DNS to prevent spoofing and/or not click links in an email you received asking you to login to your email again...??

This is what happens when you put useless pen pushers, in positions of power, and the techs and geeks get ignored and downsized and ignored.
 
Another simple/basic rule which helps is , don't use admin accounts for email. Email accounts and admin accounts should be seperate. Too easy for attackers to deduce a username from an email address
