No blackouts expected: Eskom

Eskom was “cautiously confident” that it would not have to implement blackouts over the festive season despite the power system being constrained, it said on Thursday.
 
Lemme guess, they bought an Industrial-Strength hair drier and dried all the wet coal?
 
"cautiously confident", oh come on, need a better example of an oxymoron? They just won't say what we all know.
 
Just so that you are aware, I have been subject to load-shedding on Christmas Eve.
Went out exactly at 18h00 and came back on exactly two hours later. This despite the LIES posted on the various websites i.e. "GREEN STATUS" on Eskom's website, and CoJ stating "WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY LOAD SHEDDING"
 
No power in magazine sig on 25th no power in berario on 26th. Both for a couple of hours.
 
If there was a power outage then it was not loadshedding related.
 
I agree, sounds like a substation malfunction.

Which is really bad, by the way. :eek:
 
Was not a fault, and I am sorry, faults occur at random times, not exactly at 18:00

Right they did manage to give me electricity the whole holiday. Back to reality now :sick:
