Government on Tuesday dismissed a hoax statement saying it had been warned by Eskom the main power grid could crash

Its called the new PR person is trying to negate some of the truths that were told to us by Andrew Etzinger..... its why he was removed from the position.

Like the joke that is going around that there will be a total country wide blackout on the 29th, 30th and 31st of feb! Haha

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_major_power_outages - that list of outages tells me otherwise. South Africa's blackouts of 2008 isn't even listed on there. And seriously if your dumb enough to short out a nuclear reactor with scaffolding causing R7.5bn of damage to the economy then anything is possible.
