Yeah, 50GB is new, but for the same price you could get a package that allowed 120GB of use... and so on for the rest of the deals. Why haven't you mentioned that?

Also, what happened to the 1GB a month for a year for R499 deal? Is that still around.
 
Looking at the glass half-full, it is a start. I remain hopeful that they will realise that stepping out the boat a bit will attract many consumers to their wares.
 
R139 for 2gigs is a decent price for me.

I used to pay R149 for the 2 + 1 special and I never used the night surfer data.

Also this is all network data. Those Telkom Mobile only data bundles pissed me off to no end because I don't get signal in my bedroom. So if the ADSL, and by extension wifi, was off I was screwed.
 
So,comparing all networks data prices vs Telkom only network? Example, on Telkom network 250MB was R38.00 and now on all networks it's R39 and no change with 500MB @ R69.00.Still,impressive price drops now that I look at the price comparison.

Well if you are comparing to certain other countries, yes. But if comparing to South Africa, they are very good prices - and in any case, I would rather pay a little more and get good service than pay as little as possible and get Cell C.
 
In the past I made use of the 60Gb + 60Gb(Night Owl) Prepaid data bundle which was available for R1799 and valid for 12 months . (Thus 120Gb if you took the night owl data in account). THAT IS NOT LONGER VALID.

So now it will cost me R1799 for only 50Gb - That is a MASSIVE price increase in my opinion.

Ya. I'm in the same boat. Very sad that they took the 60+60 option away.

I've used it before. awesome account that was. Bloody fast.
 
Why no mention of their old bundles? The other article comparing the networks also make no mention of Cell C's Giga deals.
