Help: Chromecast on Vox Telecom

Hey Guys,

I was hoping you guys can help. My chromecast can't connect to the internet on my Vox telecom account but connects without a problem as soon as a switch to my Afrihost account. Anyone know what could the reason? :confused::confused:

I'd guess it's DNS related. Maybe try changing your router DNS settings. Use open DNS settings.
 
Man, I really wanna leave Axxess at the end of this month and this new Vox deal looks good, but this is a huge problem for me! No chromecast is probably a deal breaker.

Have you guys tried using different Unotelly servers (ie not CPT and JHB)? Maybe UK and Ireland?..

Same problem here....just took up the special 100GB on Vox and Chromecast wont work on this account. Switch back to Afrihost or TI and immediatly works...
 
Is everybody having this problem using Unotelly?

and using static routes in the router for 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4?

Wow, looks like its been fixed....Chromecast working on Vox now

I'm experiencing the same issues here, have a samsung promotion account. Works fine with another ISP logon. Please help.

Same issue here, signed up yesterday with Vox and it was working. Woke up this morning and chromecast can't connect to the internet
