Huge Telkom wireless broadband price cuts

mmm, my 10+10 for R199 is due for renewal was just going to let it go month to month
But I might just add R300 for 3x times the data...

Im thinking that for most small business customers, the high cap offers are significantly better than any ADSL/VDSL offering

It is very interesting. What happens when you reach the limit on your package - e.g. 200GB. Can it be topped up?

I see a few comments above related to this. But would like a clear answer.
Is this a hard cap, soft cap (rate limited), or do they charge OOB rates?

Thanks!

Anyone know if these prices affect current contracts?
Will people effectively be paying less, just a lesser charge on the monthly debit order?

Can current contracts be upgraded? (more data, less moola?)

Is the price sim-only? Does the LTE router need to be purchases separately or is it part of the contract?

I'll keep my do Premium ADSL bundle even though the 50Gb LTE option is the same price. :)

i just got the Home Office 20 GB :wtf: I hope they will be upgrading those with existing packages? Wouldn't mind an extra 20GB night surfer.

On the current packages, you are able to top up but have to do so in store.

Are these all contract prices?
Yes. current packages are 24 month contracts so I would assume the same applies here.
They give discounted rates knowing that the price of wholesale broadband etc will be reduced eventually and then they start making decent profits while you are still stuck paying for 24 months.

Hard cap by default but you are able to change that.. (Not that you would want to)
