Adh claim... How to

Hi

My husband had a device he needs to claim for the screen.

He bought it from someone. My husband is not original owner and does not have proof of purchase

Is he still able to claim from adh
 
My father took his S5 for an ADH claim to the samsung store in Durban. They told him they wont take it unless the proof of purchase was provided. We had to go back home to fetch it, then only they booked the phone in
 
You dont need proof of purchase. They will pick up the adh warranty with the serial number.
 
Never took proof of purchase on both phones.
 
If it is a S5 or a Samsung that has ADH premium just download the adh app. Register is and call the number. They send a courier to your door and pick up the faulty device and deliver a loan phone same time.

They don't ask for proof of purchase if you do it like this.
 
OP do you have an update on whether your husband was able to claim or not.
I am in a similar predicament.
 
Well, i took my friend to the local samsung repair centre here in CT. They wanted proof of purchase for an ADH claim

Took mine into Samsung Smart Care in Century City, and they required proof of purchase or proof of contract.
 
I just took mine into Samsung here in Constantia Roodepoort, they checked their system and booked it in. No proof of purchase required
