Facebook adding Tor support for Android

Facebook will offer support for Tor via the Orbot proxy app for Android devices.

I assume that if I have no idea of what Tor is, it is not for me?

Tor is for everybody, but I have no idea why they do this. Maybe they confuse anonymity with privacy or the try to confuse us. They don't allow user anonymity, so why Tor?

Services inside Tor are 'secure'.

One thing worries me, it could be some de-anonymisation trick.
