Vodacom LTE-Advanced is here, with impressive results

The OOB shark just becomes faster. The speeds are great, but who can afford it with low cap & high priced packages. Speed is not the limiting factor, your wallet is.

I can't get it in my head WHY I ever want to use vodacom's 100mbps to get what? a massive bill .

If you are going to use speedtest.net screen grabs in a publication, atleast pay for the app first.

Shame, Whatsapp must #PayBackTheMoney, the poor Vodascum couldn't even afford Ad-Free versions of Speedtest for their marketing. (Also, you must please check your battery!)

I am glad for the network upgrades but I have never and will not be supporting vodacom due to their very expensive data.

So why a separate article for this shark? :wtf:

any LTE-A routers available yet? been waiting before i upgrade my data contract.

Why isn't the iPhone 6/6Plus listed as LTE-A compatible? I thought those phones supported it as well?

Just running that speedtest is probably going to use 100MB+ of one's cap.

Edit: Tested on my phone with 11.4Mbps down and 3.7Mbps up and that used 23MB, so I'd expect an LTE-A speedtest to be closer to 150MB.

This is their Downfall - But good as well.

Iburst - Telkom - Cell-C - MTN can try to offer better pricing and take market share.:)
