Best "pure android" cheap phone

Hey guys. I recently upgraded to an iPhone, but the thing is the airtime doesnt get loaded on another sim, so I am basically looking for a cheap phone (think of the ones you buy at PEP) below R500 with dual sim and "pure android"

Not below R500. Maybe between R800 and R1500 yes.

I'm assuming by your England that you mean the airtime gets loaded on a different sim card other than the new phone you just got. Depending on your cellular provider (hopefully the same one), you can get a cheap R199 mono chrome not-so-smart phone and just transfer the airtime from one sim to the other each month.

Sounds like you don't need that iphone since you're considering downgrading to a android dual sim phone anyway...
 
The only phones with pure Android are the Nexus range, and you definitely can't get those at PEP or for cheap.

They're cheap compared to a Galaxy S6 but not R1000 cheap.
 
Motorola's are very near to pure in that they come preloaded with a Motorola app.
 
I dont understand, unless you had a Blackberry going to iPhone is a downgrade?
 
I think there is a misunderstanding. What I mean is, I have upgraded on a different sim that is not my main number, meaning I don't use it from day to day. I also have another contract I don't use every day, so I was thinking of getting a dual sim and put those 2 sims in the phone and use it for phone calls etc. I don't want to downgrade at all. I am very happy with the iPhone, I just need an option for the other as to not carry 3 phones with me all the time.
 
Looking at getting a Karbonn Phone. Its made overseas but might get a few resellers here. Its an Android One phone, designed by Android devs and aimed at the low budget market. I have one and its a pure android phone, gets updates directly from Google, as soon as international release.
