Can someone from AfriHost PLEASE call me. I am at my wits end. I bought my wife a tablet, got an MTN simcard for it as you didn't have any simcards, I signed up with AH and then the tablet got stolen. I have now bought a NEW tablet, MTN refuse to do a sim swap so I bought a NEW sim card. My wife called AH to get the account moved to the new simcard and she was told that it had to be done by MTN. I spent 1 hour 30 minutes holding for MTN only to find out that my original simcard never even existed and that AH apparently are not allowed to be using MTNs simcards. I have been sent back to AH but at this hour your call centre is closed. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can someone help me with this dilemma?

Hi there

Firstly, I am sorry that you had such a bad experience. It's bad enough having things stolen, so I'm sorry if we added to that in any way :(

Sounds like you got some poor information here. We are definitely able to work with MTN sims, the difficulty may be in doing a SIM swop from data only SIM, which is generally not possible.

Maybe drop me a PM and let's chat about where things are at and I can try to find a way forward for you :(
