So a while ago Webafrica caused waves by introducing their funky over-the-top images (e.g. on their website and billing), and all was good.
Now I see they've injected that same approach into their support e-mails, and it comes across sounding extremely textbook and insincere.
Example 1: Paragraph in response received to support ticket received only 48 hours earlier (on a trivial billing-related matter).
Cool your jets there Jim, the world isn't ending. If I get a sobbing response like this to a 48 hour delay, what will happen when you REALLY let me down? Roses delivered to my door by your CEO?
Example 2: Intro to another web-ticket, with another simple billing query.
Do you see from the above that they've actually INCREASED the fake enthusiasm? We now have 'It is really wonderful to hear from you' injected into the middle of the first line, which was paraphrased from the earlier template. *facepalm*
TEMPLATE != Authenticity. When the hell will companies learn?

I hope that you going well this morning, thank you for taking the time out of your day to contact us directly.
I am truly sorry that it has taken so long for us to get back to you on your query, there is no form of excuse that can or will measure up to the level of service that you have received thus far, it is indeed not acceptable.
