Microsoft has stepped up its notifications to Windows 7 and 8.1 users who are yet to update their operating system to Windows 10.

I have missed it and I am still missing it.

That's why I use the GPX control panel... to block these notifications.

Old news and it's important to note that you can now opt not to upgrade:

Two less-prominent options will allow the user to select to be notified three more times in total or never to be notified again

Disable automatic updates, you don't get this and also you don't get updates with telemetry spyware on Windows 7.

Bad advice.
You also do not get security updates.
Not installing updates only makes your Windows machine vulnerable.

Actually its better to just reinstall every year or so and get the torrent with the useful updated included.
